Today I was feeling better, and I did go into town for an appointment not related to my treatments. I felt tired, but not ill, I was glad. I think this will be a nice weekend coming up.<\/p>\n
Some friends are bringing food over and will eat with Pete and I, and we have tickets that were gifted to us for a swing concert at the Vet’s building in SLO. I am hoping it won’t be too much for me, but it would be nice to have some entertainment for a change. The event is a fund raiser for the police department, so it will be interesting to see who is there.<\/p>\n
I am having some pain in my mouth with sores from the chemotherapy, and I am hoping it doesn’t get worse. It is making eating difficult, but I will probably manage OK.<\/p>\n
Some wonderful friends who own a cleaning business gifted me in cleaning my house. I am ever so thankful that I am blessed with such wonderful friends. I feel indebted to them and everyone. I am thinking that I will step up to the plate when I am well, and help others who are going through this. I see how it benefits the person going through seasons like this to have help with people who care and are trying to make this journey less uncomfortable.<\/p>\n
Thank you for all the help and meals and prayers from all of you. You don’t know how it has really helped Pete and I. We are so blessed.<\/p>\n
