We are grieving from the bad sentinel lymph node biopsy report as well as the dreadful reality of chemotherapy starting tomorrow; surgery in a couple of months, and radiation after that. The doctors are optimistic, however. A crappy couple of days, I must say. Too much, too fast. -Pete
We are grieving with you. 🙁
Hang on to Jesus!!
Love, prayers & virtual hugs,
The Millers
Thank you.
When you have time & energy (no hurry), can you explain what “bad biopsy report” means so we can pray specifically?
It means that one of the lymph nodes that was biopsied has a metastasis of cancer on it. All three of the lymph nodes that the surgeon removed had cancer cells on them, but one was considered metastatic in relation to its size and its aggressiveness. It means that the cells are mutating to become more aggressive and wants to go elsewhere in the body.
You can pray specifically that the cancer stop becoming metastatic, and that I will be spared the nausea and vomiting that goes with these particularly strong chemotherapy drugs that I will be starting tomorrow. Pray that I will be able to find foods that I can tolerate that are healthy and that I can maintain a healthy nutritional diet despite the taste changes that occur with these drugs. Pray that the chemo will kill the cancer cells specifically.
Okay thanks Dianne… I will be praying!!!!!!!!! Hang in there & enjoy the gorgeous day!! Love u!
By the way, I’m so sorry you have to go through this. I’m praying for miracles!!! If God is big enough to create the entire universe and to create our complicated bodies… He is big enough to heal you!! xoxo Tali
Well, I share your grief, guys. I cried when I read Randy’s e-mail and again when I read your blog. I’m praying for you both so much and wondering what more I could do for you. Pray throughout these days for your healing and complete restoration to optimum health until God brings it to pass for now. I’m dealing with respiratory issues and weight loss right now. I’m going up to San Francisco tomorrow for more tests and a consultation with the Doctor and a Nutritionist. I should be back around the 30th. I’m bringing my laptop so I can stay up-to date on your prayer needs. Can I bring you anything from the “Big City?” Like Chinese teas or fancy chopsticks? 😀
I love teas. That would be nice. I will be praying for your health as well. Thank you for your prayers.
Dianne and Pete, Please know you are in my prayers and i’m believing and in agreement with Talihta as to the healing work being done by the creator of the universe. I will continue to lift each need and hold you both close. Love lori
Thank you. We both appreciate the prayers.
I’m on my knees!
Thank you, Annemarie.
