Update of March 15

The next thing on my schedule for my journey is now I am scheduled to have surgery on Monday for an insertion of a port-a-cath which is to be used for my Chemotherapy treatments, and now also a sentinel lymph node dissection which must happen before chemo begins…  The doctors are making things happen fast, that I have to juggle so much around. The phone doesn’t stop ringing and I am exhausted.

I have a very busy weekend ahead for my Pet Service so I will have some fun things to look forward to, although there are other activities going on at the same time.  My head is almost spinning because of the focus of all these things going on.  This year certainly started off with a major big band and keeps on going!  No more surprises please.

  1. Dianne, I just wanted you to know that I am following your journey and am keeping you in my prayers. I know you will be an overcomer, not just a survivor. God doesn’t call us survivers, He calls us overcomers!!! I know that thru this journey, you will have a great testimony for others – to give them hope and courage to go thru their own journey. Know that even in your weakest moments, He is strong and is holding you in His arms. You are loved and I miss you and Pete a lot!!!

  2. Dianne, I’m praying for you to feel God’s presence and peace tomorrow as you undergo surgery, for it to be smooth and uneventful, and for absolutely clear lymph nodes!! Can I get an Amen?? Amen sister!!

    • Thanks you, Jean. It was a very long day and I am glad it is over. I had to be at Marian Medical Center at 6 AM and we didn’t get home until after 2:30 PM. I look forward seeing Bert next week.
