A Bit of an Inconvenience

Yesterday after chemo, I rested mostly late afternoon, and when Pete came home we treated ourselves to a burger (which we rarely order), but Pete wanted something fun and it actually sounded like I would like to try it. I was needing to bump my calories, so I was good with it. The problem was as I was eating, there was something hard hidden in the meat, and my temporary crown shattered into several pieces in my mouth. I thought, oh no, the office is closed, and they are not open on Fridays.

I called since it was an emergency, and she worked me in for today and said they were there on Friday with a staff meeting, so it worked out great for her to replace my temporary. I just went by after my visit to the oncologist’s for my injection which went quickly, and the dentist replaced my temporary quickly as well.

I was glad both went quickly, and my friend, Karen who drove me was able to get to her chores sooner, so that was a good thing.

Now I can enjoy a beautiful day and it is actually shorts weather. I am feeling good today, so I will take advantage of it. I am amazed at how well I feel today. Praise God for some good days. I better not overdo though. Ha.

  1. Hi Diane,
I love reading your blog. You are so full of faith but honest about how hard this all is. I hope this summer I will be able to help you a bit..or just come over for a visit.
You are in my prayers daily.
I bless the Lord for you.
    love,
    Teri
