Today I actually felt better than my last chemotherapy cycle. I was not feeling well yesterday at all, but it was more from a headache and slight queasiness. I went for my injection today, and was amazed at how my better I was doing. My doctor had ordered yet another drug for me to help with the nausea, and I really could tell the difference.

My driving friend of the day and I drove down to Santa Maria to pick up my wig that I had on order. It looks really great! I also picked up a nice looking turban, and a hat. So I am good to go now. It was fun to look at all the wigs at this place with a girl friend. We both had a great time and just marveled over the different styles and colors. There was even a blue one. I didn’t think blue suited me. The place is called “A Touch Of Elegance” and this place has the best selections of wigs. If the color isn’t right, she orders it for you. She is a Christian lady and blesses everyone who comes in.

I was tired of course when I got home, because it was a long day, but I was thankful to spend time with a friend and share a part of my journey with. I was thankful that I felt well enough to enjoy it, and that I am so blessed to have so many people who love me. God is indeed good!
