I definitely had a couple of better days. I walked my dog client, Bert, and I even did a couple of things around the house. I do get tired easily, but it goes with the territory. I look forward to a weekend of feeling good and maybe doing some exercise.

Bert was so happy to see me, he kept kissing my hand. He isn’t a licking type of dog, but he does that to Pete and my hands when he is over joyed. Nice to have a job that your clients get excited to see you and do a doggie dance around you. It makes my day.

I do hope that I don’t repeat this last week when I have my chemo this coming Thursday. This is certainly not my cup of tea. The one thing that makes it bearable is knowing that there is an end date. I have something to look forward to.

When I look in the mirror when my head gear and makeup are not on, it looks like my face is disappearing. My eye brows and lashes are thinning, and my color is quite pale. Pete says I have the Casper the ghost look. That makes me feel attractive. Not! I have to be careful not to expose my skin to the sun with this chemo, because it makes the skin more photo sensitive. I am supposed to always wear sunglasses outside at all times.

Well, it will all come back again, and I will be well and trying to get fit again. I will be starting over again, but that will be ok. This is just the season I am in right now.
