I have had a worsening sore throat much of the week, and it has become harder to swallow and difficult to eat. Last night I looked at my throat with a flashlight and it looked bad. It looks like thrush and hurts like strep. Ow. So I called my on-call doctor and after discussion we decided to treat it for both. It would be too costly to go the doc-in-a-box on a weekend. Oh boy, more drugs! And one of them is a monster. So I am wiped out.

Every day I visualize re-starting my exercise regime, but my body won’t follow my commands. So I think I’ll go back to bed again. Tomorrow will be better. Again, we are very grateful for the folks who have been providing us some meals and prayer. That’s all I can say, I can’t think. Sleep.
