I had a couple of rough days, so I wasn’t up to doing my blog the last couple of days. My unveiling of my hair on Sunday night was such a successful party. I was very blessed that so many came to my party even though it was Easter Sunday and many are busy with family. There was quite a group. It ended up being very special and fun. Thank you to everyone who did come and participate.
We did funny cuts and hairdos with gel and such. We got a few funny pictures also. Not sure I will be posting them, although I suspect Pete might do it. I actually don’t look too bad in some of these silly hair cuts. I was tired, but happy with the activity. [Here’s a start. -pw]
Monday was my peak day of when the chemotherapy kicks in, so I feel generally awful. There is nothing for me to do, but rest, and even today I needed an extra rest day. I am figuring out when my sick days are, and I just have to let my body recover and basically do nothing. I have to give myself permission, to not get anything done on those days. This isn’t forever and thankfully there will be an end eventually.
I have many who are offering help, and have been helping me. I am ever so thankful. I am hoping to have some energy for tomorrow because I have a couple of appointments. I have to take one day at a time. I do want to stop by the Hearst Cancer Resource Center if I am up to it to get a couple of hats or head coverings. I am in need of soft, warm head coverings.
Well, back to my rest time. I just thought I better catch up on my blog. I am starting to feel a bit better and hope to have some good days now. Yes!
We could just get you a nose ring, tongue ring and some tattoos and you will be stylin! 😉
I could go with stylin! A tattoo on my head would be funny too.
quite the punk rock look Dianne! :).
so bummed I didn’t get to hug you today! you looked very pretty at church. I really like the cut and color.
I thought I looked pretty cool. Ha. Anne said I could do some serious evangelism out there. I wanted to say hi to you, but never got to that side of the building.
