Today was not a good day, and I ended up rescheduling two appointments because I didn’t feel well enough to drive into San Luis. They are appointments not related to my treatments, but other doctor appointments. I was supposed to get my permanent crown placed today, but I really didn’t feel up to going. I rescheduled for tomorrow and hope that I will be feeling better. I actually was running a temperature over 100, so that didn’t make me feel great either.
I called Pete to come home and walk my client, Bert today because I was feeling too poorly. Pete told me that Bert was so happy to see him and even gave him little kisses and did his little Bert dance. He is a sweet little fellow. They had a nice walk.
I am more than ready to be over this part of my journey. Today I really felt like I just had enough and wished the end was today. The nurses and doctor have promised me that the next four cycles will be much better. When I looked at the side effects, they don’t sound so great either, but perhaps less extreme as this.
Friday I am scheduled to have an ultrasound to see how much the tumor has scrunch. I hope it is totally gone and not seen at all!
I’m praying for your ultrasound appointment tomorrow! I hope you are able to sleep well tonight. that neighborhood dog kept me awake all night last night. if I heard from here, he must’ve been super loud over by you guys :(.
I didn’t hear the dog last night. I wasn’t able to sleep either because of the dog barking for the last several nights. Pete talked to the owner of the dog yesterday, so I didn’t hear any barking last night which was good.
It appears that the tumor is smaller from what the technician told me, but the measurement will be the determining factor. I will find out next week at my Thursday appointment.
