Excited to do errands

I was feeling pretty good this morning and was thinking maybe I am on my way to being normal energy level, or at least heading in that direction.

I went this morning to meet a new client with two Keeshonds, and before I went the owner told me that one of them is afraid of people, so she wanted me to get to know them. What happened was both dogs took to me the moment the door was opened and I got doggie kisses! The woman was very pleased that her shy dog took to me so well. I have to say that has happened a couple of other times with dogs that were “afraid of strangers.” They take to me quickly. I have a special doggie anointing I suppose. Ha.

I went into SLO to get some vacuum bags that we were out of, and then ran into the grocery store to pick up a couple things. There were some other places I wanted to go, but I thought I would be doing too much. By the time I got home, I was exhausted. I guess recovery is going to take a while. Then after I got home I found I had bought the wrong vacuum bags–now I have to go back again and return them. I really hate having to return stuff. I will go back tomorrow then. Maybe I will go just before the Art Therapy Class that I want to try. That will make the trip back to Sears more pleasant.

This evening I was really dizzy. I was reaching for something in the closet and then when I straightened up, I started to fall backwards. I said to Pete, I am dizzy! My fall was stopped by the door of the closet and Pete grabbed my arm. It was weird that it happened so quickly. I had to sit for bit after that. Not sure what is up with that. I still feel a little off. I am still also battling sores in my throat, but I don’t think it would be from that unless it is an infection, which I don’t have a fever, so no, it wouldn’t be. Hopefully it will pass, and I will be fine in the morning.

I have a walking date in the morning with one of my clients and her sweet dog Bert. Nice to have a walking buddy and I do hope that the fog won’t be so thick in the morning as it has been this summer and is right now. I will just dress accordingly.

We went to our last home fellowship (for the summer) and talked about the book we were studying and had some fine fellowship and worship as well. It will probably resume again in the fall. Everyone is planning on leaving for vacations this month or next, while Pete and I are preparing for my surgery. WHAT??? I want a vacation instead! Well, next year perhaps. This is just a season and it will be over one day.
