Friday, when it was time to go to my radiation treatment, it was pouring rain so hard. I really don’t like driving in heavy rain. So I left early to drive like a snail so I wouldn’t hydroplane which can happen in heavy rain. I did once on the drive even with a slower pace, so went even slower. Very scary. But I still got to my appointment early, so I went in and just read the same magazines there and text and such while I was waiting.

The fun thing was the doctor came out to see me in the waiting room with a beautiful Airedale terrier. He sat down next to me to introduce me to Lulu. She was a beautiful and very calm dog. He said that she likes to come and hang out at the office with the girls sometimes. He was having work done at his home, so he brought her and showed her to me. I was delighted. He asked me if I would like to sit for her sometime, and I said I would love it. I don’t think I have ever seen this breed in person except on dog show competitions on TV. She looks like a show dog.

Anyway, that made my day. A treat for coming in early to the office. After I finished my treatment, I asked if I could take her picture, so I got a few of her on my phone.
