Finally!

I returned to the pharmacy and the medication (Emend) was there this time. I was so relieved. [I told ya’ so.  -pete] I am not sure what the hold up was, or what the problem was. The pharmacist told me something about one of the medications I had only received a few and not the whole order the previous time, so he finished giving me the rest. That looks like what caused the mix up. Hopefully this won’t happen the next time I go in to refill the medications. Anyway, I am still not too clear on it, but it is in hand now and that is what is important.

I felt pretty well today, and enjoyed walking with one of my dog clients (Bert!) and a friend, so it is always very pleasant. It was terribly windy, but it is still good to get out into the sun for a bit. We live in such a beautiful place. I am thankful to live in such a place and I thank God for the wonderful friends I have.

Tomorrow is my second cycle of chemotherapy (Adriamycin & Cytoxan), and now that I have my anti-nausea medicine, I am ready to do battle!
