Attempting to Do Normal

This morning, Saturday, Pete and I went to a sale at Kohl’s for a couple of things that I needed and one fun thing with a 30% off coupon plus other discounts. I wanted to get out and do normal stuff. As we were walking towards the store, I was already feeling like it was too much for me. We hadn’t even started the day! But we did finish our shopping fairly quickly.

Then I wanted to go down to the Arroyo Grande Harvest Festival to visit the Woods Humane Society booth to say hello, and see if they would let us walk a dog around. We got there and had to walk a few blocks because of parking issues, and I was already pooped before we even got there. I was ready to go home, but I didn’t say anything because we drove there and I wanted to get out of Los Osos fog for a bit. It was actually very warm in Arroyo Grande.

We never found the booth, so I wonder if they didn’t have enough volunteers to set up for the booth. We may have missed a street, but I was ready to go home and go to bed. I wasn’t feeling well at all. What was I thinking? I am still recovering for crying out loud! I feel amazingly weak and absolutely no stamina. I did get a walk in [1.5 milesĀ  -pw], but now I was ready to go to bed.

And that is what I did the rest of the day when we got home. I would very much like to get my strength and energy back. I lost them somewhere and can not find them. If you find them, could you tell them to come back, that I miss my strength and energy and really, really need them?

    • So sorry to hear you are ill. Seems a lot of people have been catching stuff. Just as well that I am not out there that much. this is all I can manage, although today I felt better. Resting is a good thing while recovering.

Thanks for your prayers. I appreciate them. God is good!
