I am glad that I can actually work during this time. I have to go into town daily for my radiation treatments, and other appointments here and there including my pet clients, so I do get very tired, but I don’t think it is the radiation making me tired. I am tired from such a busy schedule, and I think that is a good thing. I like being busy, although I am getting behind in a few things. I will eventually get to those things in good time.
I am still staying overnight at my client’s home, Bella, and then going home to do my errands at home or go to my appointments during the day. I was hoping to go visit my friend in the hospital again, but I have been too busy and actually too tired. I really shouldn’t go to hospitals and places that are crowded with a lot of people until I am done with my radiation. Immunity goes down even though it doesn’t feel as dramatic as chemotherapy. Bella is a fitful sleeper, so she keeps me awake much of the night. I am sure most of my fatigue is because of her. She doesn’t sleep through the night and she seems to want to make sure I don’t either.
I walked Bella this morning and met some people who knew her. They were interested in how I was doing with her and in how their friends were doing while on their cruise. I haven’t tried to email them, so I am not sure how they are doing in light of the huge storm that was on the east coast. I know it was much farther north than they are, but the Atlantic Ocean would be rather rough none-the-less. I also ran into a friend who was walking early this morning as well.
We are having our summer now, and it has been in the 90’s here in Los Osos. It just seems odd to have such hot weather in November. We usually do have our summer warmth in the fall, but not this warm! I am enjoying wearing shorts and summer clothing while I can.
Well, off to bed for me. I hope Bella sleeps through the night tonight. I would like to feel rested if you please.
